A three-year-old girl in North Carolina is taken from her bed during the night while two adults and two other children sleep in rooms nearby. None of the four hear anything. As Christians we’re taught that God is everywhere, God sees everything, hears everything. This tells me that God saw and heard what happened to this three-year-old girl and did nothing to protect her.
I suspect we’ll soon learn that the child is dead and if so that teaches us too, that God stood by, watched and let her be killed.
